Alex de Minaur<\/a> couldn't hide his frustration, smashing his racquet after a mishit on match point that cost him his third round match against Pablo Carreno Busta.<\/p>\n

The Australian looked totally outmatched in the first two sets, dropping them 6-1, 6-1, before hitting back to take the third 6-3 as Carreno Busta called for a medical timeout for a problem with his hip\/groin area.<\/p>\n

That didn't stop the Spaniard, who held serve the entire fourth set as both players remained disciplined to push it\ufeff to a tiebreaker.<\/p>\n

The Aussie surged to a 2-0 lead in the tiebreaker before the Spaniard worked his way back into the contest off some strong first serves.<\/p>\n

De Minaur got himself back to 5-5 through a powerful forehand winner but the very next point he hit a forehand long after forcing Carreno Busta into a shabby return that barely made it over the net.<\/p>\n

Then, on match point, the Aussie got back into the rally after looking down and out, with a desperate Carreno Busta forced to run back to retrieve a lob, which he did with an astonishing tweener lob as de Minaur came to the net. The Aussie was unable to reach high enough to hit a clean shot, framing an attempted overhead smash in a heartbreaking finish to the match.<\/p>\n

A relieved and elated \ufeffCarreno Busta lay on the ground near the baseline with his arms aloft as de Minaur took out his anger on his racquet at the net.<\/p>\n

The Spaniard is through to the fourth round after winning \ufeff6-1, 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5).<\/p>\n
