Tempers erupted soon after as Brown's teammates rushed in to remonstrate.<\/p>\n Triple premiership Lion Jonathan Brown lashed his former club – trailing by a monumental 66 points at the main break, saying he was "embarrassed" to be a Brisbane supporter.<\/p>\n "I'm embarrassed to be a Lions supporter tonight," he told Fox Footy.<\/p>\n "That is very disappointing.<\/p>\n "Unfortunately, Chris Fagan will need 22 couches in that locker room, because Melbourne are well and truly in the Lions' heads.<\/p>\n "Well done to the Demons, they were fantastic. But how bad are the Lions?"<\/p>\n Melbourne champion Garry Lyon added it was difficult to work out whether the scoreboard was a result of the Demons' "brilliance" or how "appalling" the Lions' showing was.<\/p>\n Lyon said it was a "horror show" for the Lions, whose determination to engage in off-ball scuffles with the Demons backfired.<\/p>\n "It's been staggering to sit back and watch this unfold," he told Fox Footy.<\/p>\n "They have not handled the occasion at all.<\/p>\n "I firmly believe this: Some teams can get inside your head and from the build-up that's what we've seen from Brisbane and we've seen the last three times.<\/p>\n "They thought they needed to display an overt toughness, which neglected to go and win the hardest ball which was there.<\/p>\n "So, at quarter-time you're down -10 in contested possession but you're ripping up opposition jumpers and getting in these little silly dust-ups \u2013 it didn't work. That's embarrassing."<\/p>\n Riewoldt was particularly scathing towards Brisbane captain Dayne Zorko who featured heavily in a tussle at the half-time siren.<\/p>\n "They look like a side that it (off-ball scuffling) just doesn't come naturally to them.
