"I've been a Reds fan my whole life, so to get the opportunity to hopefully run out at Suncorp Stadium in front of the great Queensland fans is pretty crazy.<\/p>\n

Grealy, a fullback or speedy winger, is one of five rookies elevated to the full squad by the Reds today.<\/p>\n
Fijian winger Ilasia Droasese, highly rated halfback Kalani Thomas, prop Zane Nonggorr and outside back Josh Flook all benefitting from Queensland Rugby's powerful Rugby pathways.<\/p>\n
While Flook and Nonggorr got a taste of Super Rugby last year, Grealy has been creating waves with his speed and footwork since his schoolboy days at Downlands College in Toowoomba.<\/p>\n
"I love to attack. If I can take someone on I will." Grealy said with a smile.<\/p>\n
"Back when I was a young kid, Kalyn ponga was pretty big, so I like to follow a few of his steps and bring them into my game."<\/p>\n
Coached by former Reds and Wallabies big man, Garrick Morgan, Grealy evokes memories of one of Australian rugby's greatest players.<\/p>\n

"The only qualities that are similar are Tim Horan, so I compare him much to him," said Morgan.<\/p>\n
"He's got all the X-factor and I've never coached anyone like him before."<\/p>\n
The dream for Reds fans is Grealy and Flook one day linking up in the same Queensland backline.<\/p>\n
The latter coming with his own high praise comparison, many good judges likening outside centre to All Blacks legend Conrad Smith.<\/p>\n
"To be described as someone as his calibre is absolutely amazing" Flook revealed.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
"Hopefully I can mould my game to be a little more like his in the future.<\/p>\n
"Even though I'm a back, I like to put my head into dark places, as they say. I love to tackle and love the contact area."<\/p>\n
Flook's 2020 season ended prematurely, dislocating his shoulder against the Force in August.<\/p>\n
But he's expected to be available for selection for the Reds' season opener against the Waratahs at Suncorp Stadium on February 19.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
