Hawthorn star Jonathon Patton has been stood down "from all club commitments" as the Hawks investigate claims of sending unsolicited sexual messages to multiple women.<\/p>\n
The Hawks were already investigating the complaints but released a statement on Monday night that they were taking further action.<\/p>\n
"Hawthorn Football Club has stood down Jonathon Patton from all club commitments until the completion of its investigation into allegations of Patton's inappropriate behaviour on social media," it read.<\/p>\n
"The club's Integrity Committee met this afternoon and will continue to ascertain all relevant information.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
"The club will provide a further update at the completion of the investigation and asks that the privacy of all parties involved be respected at this time."<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old has deleted his social media accounts.<\/p>\n
The club was already investigating a complaint before two additional women came forward in recent days to allege inappropriate messages from Patton.<\/p>\n
