The 9th edition of Veteran\u2019s Premier League (VPL) conducted by Veterans & Cricketers Association of Kerala was held at Alappuzha, Kerala on 11th, 12th & 13th of March, with the support of Kerala Cricket Association. VPL is an annual event conducted and participated by former Kerala Ranji Trophy & Junior State players alongside club cricketers which consist of 6 teams (JK\u2019s Malabar Tigers, Malabar Warriors, Travancore Panthers, Absolute Sobers, Kochi Royals & Dukes) and the team selections were conducted by annual auctions.
\nThis year\u2019s edition of VPL was special as there were 21 players from KOC (Kerala Overseas Cricketers forum) and among them were 3 team owners and 2 team Captains and the performances were dominated by KOC players which gave them 5 major tournament prices. Biju Thomas was the highest run-getter with 186 runs & Vinan G Nair was the highest wicket-taker with 9 wickets.<\/p>\n
