Welsh rugby legend Jamie Roberts said he felt like an "impostor" while celebrating NSW's drought-breaking Super Rugby win over the Drua in round one.<\/a><\/p>\n

Amid the heartwarming and rousing rendition of the team song was the humorous sight of Roberts fumbling his way through in the Waratahs dressing room.<\/p>\n

"That was quite an embarrassing moment for me actually," Roberts told Stan Sport's Rugby Heaven<\/em> last night.<\/p>\n

"The lads jumping around in a circle at the end of the game, singing the Waratahs song. I've not been here long enough to learn the words to the song so I felt a bit of an impostor."<\/p>\n

The win snapped NSW's 13 game, 538 day victory drought dating back to 2020.<\/p>\n

But Roberts – who came off the bench for his Waratahs debut against the Drua – wasn't surprised.<\/p>\n

"The amount of potential there is quite scary," said the 97 Test centre, who is again among the substitutes for tonight's clash with the Reds at Leichhardt Oval.<\/p>\n

"It's ramped up, there's no doubt that about that. You can feel the nervous energy, NSW-Queensland derby is a big one.<\/p>\n

"It's always a massive one in the State of Origin rugby league isn't it but I get the impression it's quite similar in union."<\/p>\n

Roberts was also amused by his Waratahs teammates nervously monitoring the weather for the Queensland clash.<\/p>\n

"The lads are having big discussions about how to play in the rain," Roberts said.<\/p>\n

"I think they need to come up to Wales. We have discussions about how to play in the dry."<\/p>\n
