The SCG Test has been rocked by allegations that India stars Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj were racially abused by spectators.<\/p>\n

Multiple media outlets in India and Australia reported that Indian management have lodged a complaint about the abuse which is said to have been directed at the fast bowlers on days two and three of the third Test.<\/p>\n

Members of the Indian camp – including Bumrah and Siraj – were pictured in discussions with Cricket Australia officials as well as ICC representatives and stadium security after play on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Sydney Morning Herald<\/em> reported that ground operator Venues NSW<\/a> was working with the ICC and making CCTV footage available after staff stationed on the boundary near the Brewongle Stand were also made aware of reports of abuse.<\/p>\n

"The alleged taunting of Indian players was an ugly end to a third day of the match," Chris Barrett wrote.<\/p>\n

"It was also the latest flashpoint of a series that has had no shortage of drama associated with it."<\/p>\n

Cricbuzz<\/em> reported that there was a discussion between the umpires<\/a>, security officials and the said Indian players for close to five minutes after the close of play.<\/p>\n

"The Indian team then hung around in the dressing room for a while when the India security official had a quick chat with the security officers at the ground, and also the ICC security official present at the venue."<\/p>\n
