An insane boundary save from Max Bryant has lit up the Brisbane Heat's thrilling BBL victory over the Melbourne Stars in a rain-effected contest.<\/p>\n
With rain playing spoil sport in the Gold Coast, the contest was reduced to a 10-over-per-side hit out but did not disappoint, with the Heat running out 17-run winners.<\/p>\n
After posting a score of 3-115 in its 10 overs, the Heat held the Stars to 5-111 in their batting innings, 17 runs short of the Duckworth-Lewis target of 129.<\/p>\n
However, the highlight of the contest came during the Stars' batting innings when Bryant earned comparisons to Michael Jordan with an insane fielding effort.<\/p>\n

With Nick Larkin threatening to steal the game for the Stars, he looked to have hit another six, until Bryant flung himself over the boundary line, catching the would-be six with his right hand before throwing the ball back over into the field of play.<\/p>\n
"What a save! That is a screamer!" Isa Guha said on commentary for Fox Cricket. "Steph Curry, Michael Jordan eat your heart out."<\/p>\n
"That is brilliant! That is unbelievable," Aussie great Michael Hussey added.<\/p>\n
"One of the most unbelievable bits of fielding you'll ever see," he later added. "I think it's the best save I've ever seen in the history of the Big Bash."<\/p>\n
Bryant's effort was not the only outstanding fielding display by the Heat after Mark Steketee and Xavier Bartlett combined to remove explosive opener Andre Fletcher.<\/p>\n

With the Stars having made a bright start to their chase, Fletcher attempted to take spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman downtown and appeared to have hit a six before Steketee settled under the ball.<\/p>\n
Steketee caught the ball right on the boundary, but managed to fling the ball back to Bartlett before his momentum carried him over the boundary line.<\/p>\n
"What a catch, the double play from the Brisbane Heat \u2013 Steketee, Bartlett \u2013 that is one of the best catches you'll see this tournament," Guha said.<\/p>\n
"As long as his foot doesn't touch the rope that's a sensational catch." Hussey added. "I think that's brilliant fielding."<\/p>\n
