The tournament will precede the season-ending DP World Tour Championship on the Earth course, which gets underway on December 10.<br \/>\nAnd the Spaniard, who has resided in Dubai since the beginning of 2020, believes the two-week bonanza will be the perfect showcase for Dubai\u2019s ample golfing assets.<br \/>\n\u201cI think the European Tour have done a very good job in rescheduling the calendar and to add the Golf in Dubai Championship the week before the DP World Tour Championship is exciting,\u201d said\u00a0the Barcelona native.<br \/>\n\u201cTo have the opportunity to experience another European Tour event in the UAE is going to great not only for the players but also for the city as it will show that Dubai is the number one destination in the world for golf.\u201d<br \/>\nDubai boasts nine 18-hole golf courses, two 9-hole courses and numerous par-three tracks as well as world-class teaching academies where golfers can touch up on their skills. Arnaus is familiar with many of them but Greg Norman\u2019s Fire course design is still something of an unknown quantity to him having only played the course once previously.<br \/>\n\u201cI think I speak on behalf of every player on Tour in saying how pleased and grateful we are of being able to end the season in Dubai with a double-header at Jumeirah Golf Estates,\u201d said Arnaus.<br \/>\n\u201cIn other parts of the world you probably wouldn\u2019t be able to host these tournaments but Dubai has given us the opportunity to keep on doing what we love and we are very thankful for that.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cDubai has such a vast range of great courses with impressive layouts so I\u2019m really looking forward to playing on the Fire course for only the second time. It\u2019s going to be a good test with some fun holes that allow you to attack more than the Earth course. It will be new for us so we will have to adapt and enjoy the challenge.\u201d<br \/>\nThe 26-year-old is currently teeing it up in Leopard Creek at the Alfred Dunhill Championship before heading back to the\u00a0UAE for the Golf in Dubai Championship.
