The Gold Coast Titans will not sanction prized recruit David Fifita<\/a> over the trespassing incident that triggered his arrest on December 27.<\/p>\n

The gun second-rower was arrested after allegations surfaced of a man trespassing at a Gold Coast home, but he was released without charge.<\/p>\n

Titans coach Justin Holbrook today told reporters the club would not take disciplinary action.<\/p>\n

"We've got to move on now," Holbrook said.<\/p>\n

"He's training well and has done a great job with his rehab.<\/p>\n

"It's always hard when you're a player in rehab, but he's done a great job and integrated into the full squad."<\/p>\n

However, the fact the Titans have chosen not to sanction Fifita doesn't mean he won't cop a punishment from the NRL's Integrity Unit, which is still investigating the incident.<\/p>\n

Fifita's trespassing incident was his second off-season controversy within a year.<\/p>\n

The Queensland Maroons enforcer was jailed in Bali during the 2019 off-season, before having his freedom negotiated. He was then escorted home by an employee of his then club, the Brisbane Broncos.<\/p>\n

Fifita played 44 games with the Broncos between 2018 and 2020, before signing a three-year deal with the Titans worth an estimated $3.5 million.<\/p>\n
