The younger brother of Australian star Tim Tszyu<\/a> is set to follow in his family's footsteps after signing a deal to become a professional boxer.<\/p>\n

Nikita, 23, was a talented amateur boxing before walking away from the sport six years ago to pursue a degree in architecture.<\/p>\n

The two brothers are the sons of boxing legend Kostya Tszyu. It's understood Nikita is eyeing his professional debut in February next year.<\/p>\n

The news was made official today, with several of Australia's leading boxing voices taking to social media to reveal the announcement. <\/p>\n

"I want to achieve that greatness," he told Newscorp.<\/p>\n

\"Tim<\/p>\n

"Now I have my head clear and I know exactly what I want, I want to achieve that greatness.<\/p>\n

"I want to achieve the level that I feel I can achieve, and that all comes with sacrifice."<\/p>\n

Nikita's signing news comes just days after his older brother increased his unbeaten professional to 20-0 (15KO).<\/a><\/p>\n

Tszyu against Japan's Takeshi Inoue retained his WBO Global and WBO Asia-Pacific super-welterweight titles and won convincingly on points, with the judges scoring it 119-108, 120-107 and 120-107.<\/p>\n
