Hobart Hurricanes<\/a> skipper Rachel Priest put her name in the history books today by notching her first WBBL <\/a>century.<\/p>\n

Priest, a former New Zealand White Fern, finished with an unbeaten 107 from just 68 deliveries.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old blasted 10 fours and seven sixes at a strike rate of 157.35, which proved to be the highest score ever made by a Hurricanes player in the WBBL.<\/p>\n

It was also the fourth-highest score in the WBBL's seven-year history.<\/p>\n

Priest was awarded Player of the Match honours as Hobart defeated the Melbourne Stars by 63 runs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

"After the start [to the season] I had, I wasn't that happy," Priest said after the match.<\/p>\n

"It was a crazy innings. I wasn't expecting to get that many runs.<\/p>\n

"I'll certainly take it and it just came off for me today."<\/p>\n

Heading into the match with the Stars today, Priest had notched scores of 21 and 2 in Hobart's opening two games.<\/p>\n
