Defending Cox Plate champion Sir Dragonet has sadly died following a tragic track accident this morning.<\/p>\n
The Irish import and dual Group 1 winner, trained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, broke down in a track gallop at Moonee Valley, suffering a catastrophic injury and could not be saved.<\/p>\n
