And the winner is… Sydney.<\/p>\n

The NSW capital has capitalised on Queensland's tough quarantine rules and won the hosting rights for Tim Tszyu<\/a>'s blockbuster fight against Takeshi Inoue next month.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday it was revealed fight promoters, No Limit Boxing, had been forced to move the event from Gold Coast Convention Centre as a result of the sunshine state government's COVID-19 rules<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now it appears they will announce Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney as the venue to house the November 17 bout.<\/p>\n

Reports say Qudos will be given the green light for a 75 per cent crowd capacity, meaning 10,000 tickets will go on sale to watch Australia's boxing golden boy fight the Japanese champion.<\/p>\n

Inoue will fly from Japan to Sydney later this month in preparation for the fight.<\/p>\n
