Houston Astros centre fielder Jake Meyers left Game 4 of the AL Division Series against the Chicago White Sox after he crashed into the wall chasing a home run.<\/p>\n
The Astros said Meyers exited with discomfort in his left shoulder after he was hurt in the second inning when he tried to make a leaping catch on Gavin Sheets\u2019 solo drive.<\/p>\n
Left fielder Michael Brantley and right fielder Kyle Tucker immediately checked on him and waved for medical help.<\/p>\n

He was replaced by Chas McCormick.<\/p>\n The Astros didn't need Meyers in the end, with stars Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa and Alex Bregman playing a leading hand in helping secure the AL Championship Series for the fifth straight year.<\/p>\n Altuve hit a three-run homer, scored four times and stole a base, and Houston eliminated the Chicago White Sox with a 10-1 victory in Game 4 of their AL Division Series.<\/p>\n Correa and Bregman each hit a two-run double as the Astros bounced back from Sunday night's 12-6 loss with their usual relentless brand of baseball.
