The Raiders<\/a> have signed the nephew of club legend Brett Mullins for next season.<\/p>\n

James Schiller, a promising 20-year-old, plays wing, centre and fullback – just like his famous uncle did for Canberra two decades ago.<\/p>\n

The youngster, originally from the NSW country town of Young, played for the Dragons in the shortened NSW Cup this year and scored three tries in four games.<\/p>\n

He has signed a two-year deal with the Raiders and is expected to push for a top grade spot after an off-season training with the NRL squad.<\/p>\n

The Mullins family is one of the most famous in rugby league.<\/p>\n

Brett's dad Bill was one of the game's best wingers of the 1970s, scoring over 100 tries for the Roosters, while Brett's uncles Terry and Russell also played first grade for Western Suburbs.<\/p>\n

Bill and Brett became the first father-son combination in league history to score 100 first grade tries and each won two premierships.<\/p>\n

Brett's brother-in-law Brett Hetherington also played for the Raiders and his son Jack is currently a member of the Bulldogs' top grade side.<\/p>\n
