A frightening display of six-hitting from young gun Ollie Davies has led the Sydney Thunder to a thumping BBL win over the Melbourne Renegades. <\/p>\n
Sent into bat by Renegades skipper Aaron Finch, Davies' brutal knock of 48 led the Thunder's efforts as they amassed a first innings total of 8-209 off their 20 overs.<\/p>\n
The Renegades never got going in their run chase, losing early wickets before eventually being dismissed for just 80, leading to a 129-run Thunder win.<\/p>\n
After a blistering opening partnership between Usman Khawaja (34 off 18) and Alex Hales (35 off 21) set the table for the Thunder, Davies took it to the next level. <\/p>\n

The 20-year-old lashed sixes off five consecutive deliveries before eventually being dismissed by Will Sutherland on 48 off 23 deliveries. <\/p>\n
The Thunder reached their daunting total despite a team hat-trick from the Renegades, with Kane Richardson picking up two of the three wickets <\/p>\n
In response, Finch was the only man to reach 20, with nine of the Renegades' XI failing to reach double-figures.<\/p>\n
