You have to take catches to win matches. Our fielding was poor today, we need to improve it,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tomorrow, we will try to take early wickets to put pressure back on them and make our position strong,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Taking about his splendid spell of 3-55, Afridi said his plan was simply to put them on backfoot. &#8220;My plan was to pick up quick wickets to put them under pressure and I successfully did it. Unfortunately, our fielding didn&#8217;t work but I am confident that we will take early wickets tomorrow as the ball is still new and getting a break,&#8221; he concluded.<\/p>\n<p>It must be noted here that New Zealand finished Day 1 of the Boxing Test at 222-3. Kane Williamson scored 94 not out after getting two lifelines.
