PENRITH PANTHERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Dylan Edwards:<\/strong> Safe in the last line of defence despite coming into the game not 100 per cent fit.<\/p>\n

Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Stephen Crichton:<\/strong> Saw little clean ball but turned the tide with a smart intercept.<\/p>\n

3. Paul Momirovski:<\/strong> Quiet in attack but did his job in defence for Ivan Cleary.<\/p>\n

7. Nathan Cleary:<\/strong> Controlled play with his pin-point kicking game and directed his team around the park well.<\/p>\n

8. Moses Leota:<\/strong> Didn't make a lot of yardage with the ball but held up the middle in defence.<\/p>\n

9. Api Koroisau:<\/strong> Always a danger from dummy-half against his old club and excellent pass selection.<\/p>\n

10. James Fisher-Harris:<\/strong> Strong up front, running for over 100 metres and making some vital tackles.<\/p>\n

17. Liam Martin:<\/strong> Given his chance in the starting side but was kept fairly quiet.<\/p>\n

12. Kurt Capewell:<\/strong> One of the club's form players all year but came up with poor numbers.<\/p>\n

13. Isaah Yeo:<\/strong> Inspirational display by the co-captain – made more yards than any forward on the field.<\/p>\n

11. Viliame Kikau:<\/strong> Didn't provide a lot of thrust from the bench but came up with some big hits.<\/p>\n

14. Tyrone May:<\/strong> Struggled at this level, came up with a couple of errors.<\/p>\n

15. Scott Sorensen:<\/strong> Ran strongly when given his chance off the bench.<\/p>\n

SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Blake Taaffe:<\/strong> Was given plenty of trouble by Cleary's towering bombs but wasn't fazed.<\/p>\n

2. Alex Johnston:<\/strong> Didn't see a lot of clean ball but scored his customary try at a crucial stage.<\/p>\n

3. Dane Gagai:<\/strong> Made some good runs and had a try assist in his last game as a Bunny.<\/p>\n

4. Campbell Graham:<\/strong> Produced a bad read in defence to gift Penrith their first try but otherwise solid.<\/p>\n

5. Jaxson Paulo:<\/strong> Had few chances with the ball in a backline that was given no room to move.<\/p>\n

6. Cody Walker:<\/strong> Came up with one of the plays of the game with a stunning solo try midway through the first half\u2026 then threw the intercept that lost it.<\/p>\n

7. Adam Reynolds:<\/strong> Not fully fit coming into the game but kicked well and directed traffic with his great experience.<\/p>\n

8. Mark Nicholls:<\/strong> One of Souths' unsung heroes, came up with some big plays in a beaten team.<\/p>\n

9. Damien Cook:<\/strong> Couldn't dent the well drilled Penrith defence with his dummyhalf runs but busy in defence.<\/p>\n

Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

10. Tevita Tatola:<\/strong> Ran strongly and made over 100 metres but couldn't dent the Penrith black wall.<\/p>\n

11. Keaon Koloamatangi:<\/strong> A standout in the lead-up games, appeared to suffer stage fright on the night.<\/p>\n

Rating: 5<\/strong><\/p>\n

12. Jaydn Su'a:<\/strong> Worked hard and played big minutes without being able to make a real impact.<\/p>\n

Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

13. Cameron Murray:<\/strong> Took a couple of heavy hits early on but recovered, leading the tackle count for both sides with 51.<\/p>\n

14. Benji Marshall:<\/strong> Was thrown on in the final 10 minutes with Souths in desperate need for a try and couldn't quite work his magic.<\/p>\n

15. Jacob Host:<\/strong> A disappointment – made just 36 metres and 16 tackles – well down on his form in previous games.<\/p>\n
