Grand final viewers watched on stunned as Stephen Crichton latched onto a soaring Cody Walker<\/a> pass and streaked away to score, but it's likely that many missed a heated scuffle behind the play.<\/p>\n

Walker was visibly devastated after Crichton intercepted his pass and tore away to steal the lead for the Panthers<\/a> in the 67th minute, putting them on the path to their 14-12 victory<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sensing Walker's pain, Penrith halfback Nathan Cleary shoved the South Sydney<\/a> five-eighth \u2013 and that was all it took for the Rabbitohs ace to retaliate.<\/p>\n

Walker tugged at the back of Cleary's jumper and a tense scuffle was underway.<\/p>\n

"Cleary gives him a bit of a 'yeehaw'," said rugby league icon Phil Gould<\/a> on Nine's coverage.<\/p>\n

Walker had scooted onto an Adam Reynolds<\/a> pass about 30 metres out on the left edge, beat Kurt Capewell, floored Cleary with an exceptional left-hand palm, swerved past Dylan Edwards and hurtled away to score in the 21st minute.<\/p>\n
