Australian golf legend Greg Norman<\/a> has tested positive to COVID-19.<\/p>\n

The two-time British Open champion, who now lives in the United States, announced the news in an Instagram post.<\/p>\n

"This sums it all up. My Christmas Day. On behalf of millions, f— Covid," Norman<\/a> wrote.<\/p>\n

"Get this s— behind us never to experience it again."<\/p>\n

It came just a day after he posted a video message where he confirmed he was isolating after displaying symptoms of coronavirus.<\/p>\n

"I just got off the phone with my doctor, and even though I had a test on Tuesday, and the results came back negative, I am exhibiting mild symptoms of potentially COVID. <\/p>\n

"I feel very flu-like, I have a mild fever, I have cough, I have aches and pains, I have a mild headache.<\/p>\n

"So I am in self-quarantine."<\/p>\n

Norman last week teamed up with his son Greg Jr in the PNC Championship that also featured Tiger and Charlie Woods<\/a>.<\/p>\n

"Lets look forward to 2021 and beyond, and making this world a better, happier, more successful, happier place," Norman said.<\/p>\n

"Whatever the new normal is going to be, lets make it the new normal.<\/p>\n

"We've learned a lot of lessons this year, it's been an ugly one.<\/p>\n

"I for one, am looking forward to getting out of this quarantine, and looking forward to building whatever the great future is in 2021."<\/p>\n
