The RLPA would need to agree to any changes in testing protocols for league players.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We&#x27;re certainly not opposed to testing, as we&#x27;ve made it clear players are the only stakeholders in the game who do put their hand up to be tested,&quot; said RLPA chief executive Clint Newton.<\/p>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6274547581001\" src=\"https:\/\/vms-network-images-prod.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com\/2021\/09\/383625\/pickerimage.jpg\" alt=\"Injury wipes star Panthers recruit from decider\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cku3r0nny002b0go2nd6maxjr\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&quot;It demonstrates that players are leaders in that space. They understand testing is necessary for a range of reasons including accountability, as well as helping and supporting players who put themselves in that type of situation.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We haven&#x27;t had anything presented to us around hair testing.
