{"id":134639,"date":"2021-09-23T13:22:30","date_gmt":"2021-09-23T13:22:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=134639"},"modified":"2021-09-26T10:01:41","modified_gmt":"2021-09-26T10:01:41","slug":"registration-is-underway-for-red-bull-quicket-uae-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=134639","title":{"rendered":"Registration is underway for Red Bull Quicket UAE 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                Red Bull UAE announces that registration for Red Bull Quicket \u2013 UAE 2021 is now open, with participants encouraged to sign up as quickly as possible as limited slots are available.<br \/>\nThe exciting sports tournament \u2013 which first debuted in the UAE in 2011 \u2013 returns for yet another edition, from 24 September to 8 October 2021, with a format that street level and domestic level cricketers will be all too familiar with.<br \/>\nRed Bull Quicket will kick off its first qualifier on Friday September 24 in Ras Al Khaimah, followed by three other qualifiers in Ajman and Dubai leading to the grand finals in October 8 at Nasma Central, Sharjah\u2019s new lifestyle hub.<\/p>\n<p>Adopting a \u201c2vs2\u201d format, or two players per side, each Red Bull Quicket match lasts ten minutes and consists of 2 overs per innings, 6 balls per over, and each bowler one over. On field are small goal posters of Red Bull Quicket: 3 runs, 5 runs and 6 runs. The aim of the game is simple\u2026 Hit the goal, and the team is awarded the runs. If the ball escapes the goal line, then no runs are awarded.<br \/>\nA match is not over until both sides play complete quota of overs; but it should be noted that only runs scored with the cricket bat will be considered. That means no leg byes, no byes, and no overthrows.<br \/>\nIf a game match ends in a tie, then the winning team will be decided by the referee flipping a coin. If the finals end in a tie, then the super over will decide the champions.<br \/>\nIntrigued?
