The Wallabies have surged up to third in the world rankings after an impressive 30-17 victory over South Africa at Suncorp Stadium tonight.<\/a><\/p>\n

Here's how all the Australian players rated from the Rugby Championship clash.<\/p>\n

1: James Slipper 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Promoted to the starting lineup and battled manfully at scrum time, despite being slightly overmatched.<\/p>\n

2: Folau Fainga'a 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tidy all-round performance \u2013 both in the set piece and in broken play.<\/p>\n

3: Taniela Tupou 9\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Put in 78 minutes of excellent work around the field \u2013 including dynamic ball-running and a fantastic sleight of hand to put Marika Koroibete away for a crucial try.<\/p>\n

4: Izack Rodda 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Industrious once again, despite being overshadowed by his locking partner.<\/p>\n

5: Matt Philip 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grabbed some nice lineout takes, with good defensive work \u2013 including at maul time.<\/p>\n

\"Swinton<\/p>\n

6: Lachlan Swinton 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another rugged display without the errors of last week, but was sin-binned in slightly unlucky circumstances.<\/p>\n

7: Michael Hooper 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The record-breaking skipper had a typically impressive performance. Led the tackle count, made line breaks and won a key turnover penalty while under immense pressure.<\/p>\n

8: Rob Valetini 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Strong display last week and showed good football smarts again, especially in winning a turnover penalty.<\/p>\n

9: Nic White 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Forced his way back into the No.9 jersey and showed why with a solid kicking game and crisp passing to lay on two early tries.<\/p>\n

10: Quade Cooper 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Looked assured back in front of his home crowd, despite some goal kicking wobbles.<\/p>\n

\"Koroibete\u00a0delivers\u00a0crucial\u00a0blow\"<\/p>\n

11: Marika Koroibete 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Almost did the splits in an early tackle and ran a beautiful line to set up the second try, before grabbing two very well-deserved five pointers of his own.<\/p>\n

12: Samu Kerevi 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Terrorised the Springbok defence again and seems to provide a lot of comfort in combination with Quade Cooper and Len Ikitau.<\/p>\n

13: Len Ikitau 9.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Best display in a Wallabies jersey. Started with a brace of tries and was excellent in defence once again.<\/p>\n

14: Andrew Kellaway 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spilled an early chance at a try, but made up for it with a good effort around the field \u2013 especially on key defensive reads.<\/p>\n

15: Tom Banks 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Showed good attacking spark, before suffering a suspected broken arm in the 29th minute.<\/p>\n

RESERVES<\/strong><\/p>\n

16: Feleti Kaitu'u 4\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lineout work was shaky and didn't make as much of an impact overall in his second Test.<\/p>\n

17: Angus Bell N\/A<\/strong><\/p>\n

18: Tom Robertson 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Got his first taste of Test action for the season and worked hard.<\/p>\n

19: Darcy Swain N\/A<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Brain<\/p>\n

20: Pete Samu 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Provided more brilliance off the bench, including a massive line break in the lead up to Koroibete's second try.<\/p>\n

21: Tate McDermott 4\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Demoted to bench duties and struggled to make an impact.<\/p>\n

22: Reece Hodge 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Replaced Tom Banks in the first half and had his wobbles, but started to find some confidence with strong kick chases and a huge turnover at ruck time.<\/p>\n
