The nightmare is finally over.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Thank you to everyone who has stood by me, supported me and help me overcome this challenge.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I will speak more in the future, now is not the time\u2026 but watch this space, it&#x27;s only the beginning.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Jack was suspended for four years after testing positive to the prohibited substance <a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/swimming\/usada-ruling-to-provide-hop-for-shayna-jack\/ca07b75b-a85f-4778-a712-819982c2b7a3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" title=\"ligandrol \">ligandrol<\/a> &#8211; &quot;an anabolic agent&quot; &#8211; in July 2019 before the FINA World Championships in South Korea.<\/p>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6067320104001\" src=\"https:\/\/vms-network-images-prod.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com\/2019\/08\/233525\/pickerImage.jpg\" alt=\"Shayna Jack faces media for the first time\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cjytwf2ao00180hp984r6s4ht\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The ban was reduced to two years last year by the CAS however Sport Integrity Australia (formerly known as ASADA) and the World Anti-Doping Authority (WADA) appealed that decision in December.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed the appeals<br \/>\n filed by Sports Integrity Australia (SIA) (formerly, the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority<br \/>\n ASADA) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) against the first instance decision issued by<br \/>\n the CAS Oceania Registry on 16 November 2020 (the Appealed Decision) in which the Australian<br \/>\n swimmer, Shayna Jack, was found to have violated Article 2.1 of the Swimming Australia Ltd Anti-Doping Policy 2015 and was suspended for a period of two years, commencing on 12 July 2019,&quot; CAS&#x27; ruling said.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The appeals were<br \/>\n referred to a Panel of CAS arbitrators composed of Prof. Jan Paulsson (Bahrain), President, The Hon.<br \/>\n Michael Beloff QC (UK) and Prof. Richard H. McLaren OC (Canada),&quot; a CAS .
