If the Tigers decide to part ways with Michael Maguire<\/a> once they complete their long-running review, the man they have their sights on is Panthers assistant Cameron Ciraldo.<\/a><\/p>\n

There's just one problem – Ciraldo is unlikely to accept the job if it's offered to him.<\/p>\n

The former Sharks and Panthers forward is seen as the next man in line for a head coaching gig, but is more than happy with life as number two to Ivan Cleary at Penrith.<\/p>\n

Ciraldo is also smart enough to know that the Tigers are a rabble – and turning them into a winning club could take years.<\/p>\n

But all is not lost, Tigers fans. Back in 2002 the club was in a similar mess and sacked Terry Lamb. They offered the job to Craig Bellamy and several others – and all rejected it.<\/p>\n

In desperation, they turned to Tim Sheens – whose previous job ended in disaster at the Cowboys – and three years later he delivered them their one and only premiership against the odds.<\/p>\n

Abdo calls in Integrity Unit<\/h2>\n

Angry league boss Andrew Abdo is set to get the Integrity Unit to look into the NRL and who is continually leaking sensitive confidential inside information to the media.<\/p>\n

The NRL has been concerned about the leaks for some time but the issue came to a head following the heated press conference exchange between Souths coach Wayne Bennett and his Panthers counterpart Ivan Cleary last weekend.<\/p>\n

Both hurled accusations at each other over how the media found out that Bennett had complained to the NRL about some Panthers tactics in the lead-up to the game.<\/p>\n

But there have been other incidents that have left the NRL red-faced in recent weeks, including the Dragons' decision to appoint controversial forward Jack De Belin as captain.<\/p>\n

The team was sent to the NRL digital department, who allegedly leaked it to a journalist, before the team was thrown back to the Dragons as 'unacceptable'.<\/p>\n

Another 'in house' story to make the papers was Penrith getting into hot water for having a trainer relay messages from the coaching staff to players via a walkie talkie.<\/p>\n

"It's a bad look when people within the organisation are continually letting out sensitive information and the bosses have decided enough is enough," my own NRL leak told me.<\/p>\n

Peachey on the move?<\/h2>\n

Tyrone Peachey finished the season playing some of his best football for the Titans – but the club is attempting to offload him to the Broncos.<\/p>\n

Peachey is on massive dollars and the Titans have plenty of playmakers who can do a similar job on far less coin.<\/p>\n

The Broncos, on the other hand, have been desperate for an experienced ball player for the past two seasons.<\/p>\n

Adam Reynolds will go a long way to solving their problems, but Peachey would also help get the team going in the right direction.<\/p>\n

Titans sign boom rookie<\/h2>\n

The Titans have pinched one of the best prospects from New Zealand in Amarni Wetini-Ngaropo.<\/p>\n

A 15-year-old playmaker from Auckland Boys Grammar School, Wetini-Ngaropo has signed with the Titans until the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

The youngster has also been placed on a scholarship with Keebra Park High – Benji Marshall's old school – and will play for the Burleigh Bears in the Cyril Connell Cup next season.<\/p>\n

Although just 15, he played in Auckland Grammar's First XV rugby union team this season and is tipped for big things.<\/p>\n
