{"id":12752,"date":"2020-12-22T14:52:58","date_gmt":"2020-12-22T15:52:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=12752"},"modified":"2020-12-22T16:11:54","modified_gmt":"2020-12-22T16:11:54","slug":"salman-agha-fined-for-showing-dissent-at-umpires-decision-in-qea-trophy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=12752","title":{"rendered":"Salman Agha fined for showing dissent at umpire\u2019s decision in QeA Trophy"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin: 5px 5% 10px 5%\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/arysports.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Salman-1.jpg\" width=\"742\" height=\"486\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Karachi: Southern Punjab (SP)&#8217;s all-rounder Salman Ali Agha has been fined 70 percent of his match fees for showing dissent at umpires decision during Day 3 of Quaid-e-Azam (QeA) Trophy&#8217;s Ninth Round.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the incident happened in the 57th over of SP\u2019s first inning on the third day of the match on Tuesday, when Salman, after being adjudged LBW, showed his hand and then his bat to the umpire to establish that he had played the ball.<\/p>\n<p>Salman has been fined following\u00a0Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct, which reads as: \u201cShowing dissent at an Umpire\u2019s decision during a Match\u201d.\u00a0Salman pleaded guilty to the charge and accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Prof. Mohammad Javed.
