Storm superstar Cameron Munster<\/a> has opened up a number of off-field tragedies that have impacted him and his partner during this season.<\/p>\n

Munster this week is in doubt to line-up for the Storm against Manly due to a knee issue that kept him out of action last week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Munster battles to be fit in time for Melbourne's finals opener, he opened up on the two family tragedies that have had a profound impact on his on-field play in 2021.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old told 9News Sydney that he and his partner Bianca went through a miscarriage, which occurred not long before his partner's mother passed away.<\/p>\n

"My partner lost her mum five months ago and before that, we had a miscarriage also," he said.<\/p>\n

"It's been an emotional rollercoaster for the family.<\/p>\n

"A bit of disbelief, to be honest, I didn't think it happened."<\/p>\n

Munster says his partner is pregnant again as he gets set to take on a new chapter in his life.<\/p>\n

"It's a scary thought, I can barely look after myself," he added.<\/p>\n

"It's going to be a nice change for myself. It will make me change all the things in my life and it's probably for the better."<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Munster, who is off-contract at the end of next season, addressed speculation surrounding his future.<\/p>\n

He revealed he would be willing to move on from the Storm if the club opted to retain a number of young players coming through the ranks.<\/p>\n

"If they want to keep those young players, I will have to move away," he said.<\/p>\n

Munster has played 144 games for Melbourne since making his debut for Craig Bellamy's side during the 2014 season and is one of the team's most important players since the retirements of Cameron Smith and Billy Slater in recent seasons.<\/p>\n
