The Warriors' year may have just finished but season 2022 is already looking rocky after Kane Evans, Matt Lodge and Reece Walsh were all cited by the match review committee following yesterday's spiteful clash with the Titans.<\/a><\/p>\n

Evans is facing six weeks on the sidelines after being slapped two charges; a grade two contrary conduct charge for his involvement in a wild fracas in which he twice attempting to punch Titans star Jarrod Wallace in the head, and a dangerous contact charge for an incident involving Beau Fermor.<\/p>\n

Evans is off contract at the end of next season and his career is hanging by a thread after multiple suspensions this season.<\/p>\n

In yesterday's feisty match the powder keg was ignited in the 64th minute by rising New Zealand fullback Reece Walsh<\/a> when he tore into ragdoll Phillip Sami, after the Titans winger tackled Warriors centre Rocco Berry into touch.<\/p>\n

It led Lodge to floor Titans five-eighth Tyrone Peachey<\/a> with a late hit less than a minute later, as Wallace, who had sensationally challenged Lodge to a boxing bout earlier in the game, raced in to confront the former Bronco<\/a> and Tiger<\/a>, sparking an all-in brawl.<\/p>\n

After Lodge was sent to the sin bin \u2013 and gave Titans fans the middle finger on his way off \u2013 firebrand Warrior Evans joined him on the sideline for twice attempting to take a swing at Wallace.<\/p>\n

Walsh was hit with a grade one contrary conduct charge, while Lodge was issued a grade one dangerous contact charge. They will both miss one game.<\/p>\n
