The Wallabies will be pleased to see the back of the All Blacks after a 38-21 loss completed a 3-0 Bledisloe Cup clean sweep.<\/a><\/p>\n

Solid effort up front. Largely held his own against the All Blacks scrum.<\/p>\n

2: Folau Fainga'a 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The surprise selection wobbled early at lineout time, but found his groove and capped off a decent performance by being on hand to grab his first Wallabies try.<\/p>\n

3: Allan Alaalatoa 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Went about his work with little fanfare.<\/p>\n

4: Darcy Swain 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Very busy performance and competed well, as shown by forcing a turnover on a defensive lineout.<\/p>\n

5: Matt Philip 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Has been in strong form this Test season and around the ball often on both attack and defence. Started a big break with basketball offload, but also gifted a costly interception.<\/p>\n

6: Lachlan Swinton 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Worked industriously in the narrow channels while roaming wide on occasion. Provided a good target on attacking lineouts too.<\/p>\n

7: Michael Hooper 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The skipper's blood splattered jersey showed the punishment he had absorbed all over the field \u2013 including a wonderful try-saving tackle.<\/p>\n

8: Rob Valetini 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Second straight game at the back of the scrum saw some trademark charges and good link play too, despite giving away an intercept try of his own.<\/p>\n

9: Tate McDermott 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Continues to be one of the most dangerous attacking threats on the park and managed to spring loose to begin the movement of the first Wallabies try.<\/p>\n

10: Noah Lolesio 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Started to gain confidence with a nice running game and stinging defence, but still has plenty to address with tactical and goal kicking.<\/p>\n

11: Marika Koroibete 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Drew Mitchell asked the question: "Is Marika cursed?" after having two tries scrubbed out by the TMO.<\/p>\n

Was busy throughout.<\/p>\n

12: Samu Kerevi 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Returned for his first Test action since the 2019 Rugby World Cup and exploded out of the blocks as the focal point on attack. Looked likely to break the line frequently and had a wonderful try assist in the second half.<\/p>\n

13: Len Ikitau 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Promoted from bench duties and was mainly solid on defence and with the ball in hand, though a poor miss on Akira Ioane proved costly.<\/p>\n

14: Andrew Kellaway 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following a recent run of sizzling form, Kellaway showed more great vision on attack and featured in numerous line breaks.<\/p>\n

15: Tom Banks 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

A costly missed penalty kick for touch was balanced out by some fantastic support play, which saw him grab a late try.<\/p>\n

RESERVES<\/strong><\/p>\n

16: Lachlan Lonergan 4\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Returned to the bench for his first action since the French series, but struggled to make a mark.<\/p>\n

17: Angus Bell 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Having missed selection in the previous Test, Bell returned and added some starch with the ball in hand.<\/p>\n

18: Taniela Tupou 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Earned a scrum penalty almost immediately upon taking the field, then looked for open field chances.<\/p>\n

19: Izack Rodda 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another overseas returnee showed a couple of nice touches in his short stint.<\/p>\n

\"Barrett\u00a0sees\u00a0red\u00a0for\u00a0high\u00a0kick\"<\/p>\n

20: Pete Samu 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

First Test action of the year for the seasoned campaigner. Saw an early cameo as a blood bin replacement, then sprung loose after returning to the field to put Nic White in for a try.<\/p>\n

21: Nic White 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Made an instant impression \u2013 with his moustache and by grabbing a try within seconds of getting on the field. Also set up a try for Banks with elusive running.<\/p>\n

22: Reece Hodge 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Showed some immediate spark and added direct running to the attack.<\/p>\n

23: Jordan Petaia 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brought in to provide some X-factor and showed a slight hint of his exciting footwork.<\/p>\n
