NRL fans were treated to one of the most hyped foot races in the game when Cowboy Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Manly's Jason Saab squared off in Townsville.<\/p>\n

During the opening three minutes of North Queensland's clash with Manly<\/a> today, arguably the NRL's two fastest men were forced into a near 100-metre sprint after Tabuai-Fidow pounced on a loose ball in defence before going the length of the field for the opening try of the game.<\/p>\n

For fans, the highlight of the Cowboys speedster's try was Saab's chase down, which saw the Manly winger come across and eat up the metres as he made contact with Tabuai-Fidow who was 20 metres away from scoring.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Saab, his attempt at a tackle didn't go as planned, with Tabuai-Fidow brushing the contact before crossing the try-line.<\/p>\n

It was a moment that left Fox Sports commentator Andrew Voss and former rugby league star Greg Alexander in awe.<\/p>\n

"He's going down in third gear all the way down the field, with Saab who we know is a speedster. That was an amazing chase," Voss said in commentary for Fox Sports.<\/p>\n

Alexander added: "I don't think Hamiso could've gone any quicker… Saab had him for speed, gobbled him up very quickly, but then he couldn't make the tackle."<\/p>\n

While Tabuai-Fidow was nearly chased down despite the head start, the Cowboys winger left the field minutes later and did not return due to a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n

"I thought he (Hamiso) had another gear," Voss said.<\/p>\n

Alexander replied, "I don't think he did, I'm sure he would've felt Jason Saab coming… I don't think he could've gone any quicker."<\/p>\n

"That shows you how quick Jason Saab is."<\/p>\n
