The NRL match review committee had good and bad news for Melbourne Storm after their shock loss to Parramatta on Saturday night<\/a>, with hooker Harry Grant escaping a ban, while forward Jesse Bromwich was not so lucky.<\/p>\n

Grant was cited for a big hit on Parramatta's Makahesi Makatoa on Saturday where his leg went around the Eels star and then he had Grant's weight come down on him.<\/p>\n

The NRL's match review committee slapped Grant with grade 1 contrary conduct charge which he can accept without suspension in addition to a $1150 fine.<\/p>\n

However Bromwich faces a one to two week ban for a crusher tackle. Storm's other hooker Brandon Smith was also hit with a $1500 fine for a careless high tackle on Marata Niukore.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Parramatta big man Junior Paulo will have 1-2 weeks on the sidelines after a shoulder charge on Ryan Papenhuyzen. Eels player Nathan Brown has been dealt a $1500 fine for a careless high tackle.<\/p>\n

The Brisbane Broncos were hit hard by the NRL match review committee with Thomas Flegler looking at a 4-5 week suspension for a careless high tackle on Jack Williams and his teammate Brendan Piakura had a memorable NRL debut, but will now spend 2-3 weeks suspended for a grade 2 dangerous contact charge.<\/p>\n

In the same game Cornulla Sharks centre Jesse Ramien was fined for dangerous contact on Brisbane's Herbie Farnworth.<\/p>\n
