Rabbitohs forward Keaon Koloamatangi and Manly's Tevita Funa are both facing bans following last night's games.<\/p>\n

Koloamatangi was charged for a crusher tackle by the match review committee in the Bunnies' loss to Penrith<\/a> and faces a two-game suspension with an early guilty plea.<\/p>\n

The Sea Eagles'<\/a> Funa was cited for a shoulder charge, and with prior offences on his record, he faces a two-week suspension instead of one week on the sidelines if he enters an early plea.<\/p>\n

Both players risk a three-match ban if they unsuccessfully fight the charge at the NRL judiciary.<\/p>\n

League great Andrew Johns said he was dumbfounded by the decision to place Koloamatangi on report during Nine's coverage.<\/p>\n

"I don't know what he's supposed to do," said Johns.<\/p>\n

"He cannot disappear. I have not idea what Koloamatangi can do here.<\/p>\n

"He gets him and then Naden turns and sits."<\/p>\n

The incident added further debate to the attacking player's role in adjudicating crusher tackles.<\/p>\n

Meantime, Panthers forward Scott Sorensen faces a $750 fine for a grade one dangerous contact charge for a late hit on Souths lock Cameron Murray in the second half of Penrith's 25-12 win over the Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n
