As Manly<\/a> again prepare to take to the pitch without megastar fullback Tom Trbojevic<\/a> \u2013 this time due to a fractured cheekbone<\/a> \u2013 his teammates will be tasked with lifting their output in his absence.<\/p>\n

Manly have had mixed results across the games Trbojevic has missed this season.<\/p>\n

They failed to win a single match as the Blues and Kangaroos superstar nursed a hamstring injury on the sideline over the opening five rounds of the season, before their phenomenal resurgence clicked in a 36-0 hammering of the Titans<\/a> in Round Six.<\/p>\n

Twenty-two rounds into the season, the Sea Eagles are sitting fifth on 28 competition points, just one win behind the fourth-placed Roosters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When State of Origin<\/a> ruled out Trbojevic for Manly's duel with North Queensland<\/a> in Round 14, the Sea Eagles proved they could in fact win without the supremo, thrashing the Cowboys 50-18.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

But when Origin again rubbed out Trbojevic in Round 17, Manly fell to Canberra<\/a> in a 30-16 defeat.<\/p>\n

The Sea Eagles then completed the job without the Dally M Medal favourite when he was rested for Round 18 on the back of a taxing Origin series, eclipsing the Dragons<\/a> 32-18.<\/p>\n

Trbojevic is yet to be scratched from Manly's clash with Canberra next Friday, but Daly Cherry-Evans<\/a>, Kieran Foran<\/a>, Reuben Garrick and Lachlan Croker are among those set to bear the brunt of responsibility if he does miss the match.<\/p>\n

Panthers<\/a> and Roosters legend Brad Fittler<\/a> believes Manly have the depth to account for the loss of Trbojevic over the rest of the regular season.<\/p>\n

Fittler was highly impressed with the Sea Eagles' 56-10 demolition of the Eels<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n

"The thing is for Manly … Turbo's done an incredible job, but they belted Parramatta. Belted them," Fittler said on Wide World of Sports' The Final Whistle<\/em>.<\/p>\n

"Their forwards, every one of them, Manly. They just looked a bit bigger and a bit stronger than Parramatta and that's how the scoreline ended up.<\/p>\n

"So they're going to miss Turbo, without a doubt. What he provides is unreal. But [Manly] are going good."<\/p>\n

Des Hasler<\/a>'s men will face the Raiders, Bulldogs<\/a> and Cowboys in their run to the finals.<\/p>\n
