{"id":116485,"date":"2021-08-15T10:24:52","date_gmt":"2021-08-15T10:24:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=116485"},"modified":"2021-08-15T11:05:19","modified_gmt":"2021-08-15T11:05:19","slug":"wicketkeepers-specialised-camp-to-start-at-nhpc-from-monday-pcb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=116485","title":{"rendered":"Wicketkeepers Specialised Camp to start at NHPC from Monday: PCB"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin: 5px 5% 10px 5%\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/arysports.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/NHPC.jpg\" width=\"742\" height=\"486\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\"><strong>Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to host a Wicketkeepers Specialised Camp from Monday, 16 August at the National High Performance Centre (NHPC).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\">A total of 12 promising wicketkeepers from all across the country will take part in the four-day long camp who were part of the domestic cricket last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The wicketkeepers who are on national duty or playing in the KPL will be invited in due course ahead of upcoming domestic cricket season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">NHPC\u2019s fielding and wicketkeeping coach Atiq-uz-Zaman will supervise the camp which is aimed at identifying back-up wicketkeepers and improving their skills ahead of an action-packed domestic and international cricket season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">During the course of the camp, the wicketkeepers will engage in fitness, skill-work and batting drills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The following wicketkeepers will take part in the camp (players not engaged in the ongoing Kashmir Premier League):<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Wicketkeepers Specialised Camp (alphabetical order):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Abdullah Butt (Southern Punjab), Aftab Alam (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Afzaal Manzoor (Central Punjab), Ali Shan (Central Punjab),\u00a0<\/span>Hidayatullah (Balochistan),\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-GB\">Maqbool Ahmed (Southern Punjab), Saifullah Bangash (Sindh), Shawaiz Irfan (Central Punjab), Shehryar Rizvi (Sindh), Umair Masood (Northern), Waqar Hussain (Southern Punjab) and Zubair Shinwari (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to host a Wicketkeepers Specialised Camp from Monday, 16 August at the National High Performance Centre (NHPC).
