Andrew Johns has tipped the Broncos to spring a huge surprise and beat the Roosters tomorrow night<\/a>, saying he feels Trent Robinson's side is "coming to the end of their run" after a horror season of injuries.<\/p>\n

The Roosters have performed admirably to be in striking distance of a top four finish despite losing both captains – Boyd Cordner and Jake Friend – plus champion winger Brett Morris to injury-enforced retirements, while also missing top playmaker Luke Keary for the majority of the season and battling on without star lock Victor Radley for long stretches.<\/p>\n

Yet, after copping another blow due to the suspension of Angus Crichton for a crusher tackle<\/a>, Johns sees them as ripe for the picking in a match that most would expect them to win.<\/p>\n

"I just watched the Roosters last week against the Panthers and I thought they're coming to the end of their run," Johns told Brad Fittler on Wide World of Sports' Freddy & Joey's Tips<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

"Considering the players they've had out, Trent Robinson's done an incredible job."<\/p>\n

While Johns expects the Roosters to have a dip he is also heartened by the selection of Albert Kelly in the Broncos' starting halves<\/a>, saying he's the best option to spark their attack.<\/p>\n

"Albert Kelly, they had to put him in," Johns said. "He passes the ball."<\/p>\n

Fittler agreed, saying "I can't believe they haven't played him earlier."<\/p>\n

Kelly will partner Tyson Gamble in the halves, reviving a combination that briefly looked good earlier in the season before it was broken up due to injury.<\/p>\n

The duo partnered together when the Broncos upset the Roosters 34-16 in a huge boilover at the SCG in Round 11, with Radley twice sent to the sin bin for high tackles in the early stages of the NRL crackdown.<\/p>\n

Kelly was influential that day with Kevin Walters looking to find that winning formula again tomorrow night.<\/p>\n
