Cricket<\/a> legend Ian Healy<\/a> says Australia<\/a> were crippled by awful shot selection in the final match of the T20 series<\/a> against Bangladesh<\/a>, in which they crashed to a 60-run defeat.<\/p>\n

As Bangladesh cruised to a 4-1 series victory on the subcontinent, Australia plummeted to their shortest-ever all-out innings in international cricket, lasting just 82 balls.<\/p>\n

Australia's total of 62 also now stands as their lowest in T20 history, eclipsing the 79 all out against England in 2005, in just their second T20 match.<\/p>\n

Healy was so unimpressed with the dismissals of Australia's batsmen that he told SEN's listeners to not go looking for replays.<\/p>\n

"You saw their dismissals \u2013 well not everyone has. And, actually, don't watch it. Don't watch the dismissals in Bangladesh, because they look too easy," Healy said.<\/p>\n

"Shakib Al Hasan, one of the best all-rounders in the world, a very controversial figure, left-arm orthodox darts straight into middle stump and we're playing across the line all the time. All our dismissals (were) too easy.<\/p>\n

"And it's not spinning, it's not spinning and jumping, probably staying down more than jumping. And we just continue to get out."<\/p>\n

Matthew Wade<\/a> top-scored for Australia with 22, but the veteran was brought undone by a cross-bat shot when he tried to pull a flat, quick Al Hasan delivery through midwicket. Wade missed the ball and it crashed into the stumps.<\/p>\n

Aston Agar<\/a> was also a culprit of a costly cross-bat shot, stepping away and trying to cut a Mohammad Saifuddin delivery through point, as the right-arm quick beat the bat and destroyed leg stump.<\/p>\n

"What about all the little shots they learn? They learn the little sweeps: the reverse sweeps, the overhead sweeps," Healy said.<\/p>\n

"I think the wickets were slowing up a touch, but I don't think across the line of the ball is the go. They needed to settle on a better strategy than that; looks like they haven't."<\/p>\n

Australia haven't won a T20 series since downing the Proteas<\/a> 2-1 in South Africa last February.<\/p>\n

Since then, Justin Langer<\/a>'s men have recorded a 2-1 series defeat to England<\/a>, a 2-1 series defeat to India<\/a>, a 3-1 series loss to New Zealand<\/a> and a 4-1 series loss to both the West Indies<\/a> and Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

The torrid lack of success has come at a terrible time given the T20 World Cup<\/a>, set to be held in the UAE and Oman, is scheduled to begin in October.<\/p>\n
