Aussie tennis star Nick Kyrgios<\/a> has registered his third consecutive defeat, crashing out of the Canadian Open in the first round after a 4-6 7-6 6-4 loss to American Rilley Opelka.<\/p>\n

But it's a controversial moment during a tense second set tie-break that has turned heads after the Aussie took umbrage when Opelka appeared to touch the net when scores were tied at 4-4.<\/p>\n

Never one to back away from letting his feelings known, Kyrgios pressed the matter with the umpire but found little in way of having the crucial point overturned.<\/p>\n

"What are you watching? I saw his foot touch the net and you're not going to call it," Kyrgios said to the umpire.<\/p>\n

"What else could you be watching, bro? I can see his foot touch the net from where I am, and you don't call anything. It's a joke, bro. It cost me the f—ing set. Bulls—."<\/p>\n

The back-and-forth was met with jeers from the Toronto crowd as Kyrgios launched a tennis ball in frustration into the stands.<\/p>\n

Opelka went on to win the tie-break 7-4 and eventually the match in a third a final set. <\/p>\n
