Shane Warne has tested positive for COVID-19 while coaching in English cricket tournament The Hundred.<\/p>\n
Warne, London Spirit's head coach, felt ill ahead of a game on Sunday against Southern Brave at Lord's. He then returned a positive lateral flow test.<\/p>\n
A coaching colleague in the team also tested positive. Both men are isolating. No players have been affected at this stage.<\/p>\n
"After feeling unwell this morning, Shane returned a positive lateral flow test and will isolate from the squad and support staff whilst he awaits PCR (test) results," a Spirit statement said.<\/p>\n

Warne is the second coach to test positive for coronavirus during The Hundred, following Andy Flower of Trent Rockets. The tournament has been running only 10 days.<\/p>\n
Player Steven Mullaney was also isolated after being deemed a close contact of Flower.<\/p>\n
