{"id":109322,"date":"2021-07-31T12:41:24","date_gmt":"2021-07-31T12:41:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=109322"},"modified":"2021-07-31T12:56:37","modified_gmt":"2021-07-31T12:56:37","slug":"india-disrepute-cricket-again-by-threatening-players-to-withdraw-from-kpl-pcb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=109322","title":{"rendered":"\u2018India disrepute cricket again by threatening players to withdraw from KPL\u2019 PCB"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin: 5px 5% 10px 5%\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/arysports.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/PCB-2.jpg\" width=\"742\" height=\"486\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has expressed disappointment over Control for Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) threats to foreign players to withdraw from Kashmir Premier League (KPL).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a released statement, PCB said they will take this matter to International Cricket Council (ICC) as India once again failed to respect the spirit of the gentleman\u2019s game.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The PCB considers that the BCCI has brought the game into disrepute by issuing warnings to multiple ICC Members to stop their retired cricketers from featuring in KPL, further threatening they will not be allowed entry into India for cricket-related work,&#8221;PCB said.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>READ:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/arysports.tv\/bcci-trying-to-prevent-me-playing-in-kpl-says-gibbs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u2018BCCI trying to prevent me playing in KPL\u2019 says Gibbs<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u201cSuch conduct from the BCCI is completely unacceptable, against the preamble of the Spirit of Cricket and sets a dangerous precedence, which can neither be tolerated nor ignored,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe PCB will raise this matter at the appropriate ICC forum and also reserves the right to take any further action that is available to us within the ICC charter,&#8221; PCB statement completed.<\/p>\n<p>It must be noted here that KPL is all set to start from August 6 in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir featuring six teams. Former England players including Monty Panesar, Matt Prior, Phil Mustard, and Owais Shah, and Ex-South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs withdrew from the event due to Indian pressure.
