Sunday's scheduled matches have been moved to Monday, with the Bulldogs to play the Titans at 6pm, followed by Cronulla vs Manly at 8:05pm. Both Monday's matches will also be at Suncorp Stadium.<\/p>\n
"Our competition will resume tomorrow with a triple header at Suncorp Stadium, followed by a double header on Monday,'' NRL boss Andrew Abdo said.<\/p>\n
"This will ensure we complete Round 20 and can move to Round 21 as scheduled."<\/p>\n
A late-morning message from the NRL sent all 16 clubs into shock, with the league instructing they return to their hotels and level-four protocols.<\/p>\n
The message followed the announcement from Queensland chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young that all Saturday sport in the state had been canned.<\/p>\n
Among the chaos facing NRL clubs immediately after the announcement was those on the Sunshine Coast being told to prepare to "fly out anywhere from Canberra to Mackay at a moment's notice", Danny Weidler reported on Nine News.<\/p>\n
Moments after clubs were told to return to their hotels, Dragons<\/a> captain Ben Hunt<\/a> gave an insight into the whirlwind in a chat with Weidler.<\/p>\n "At first they told us it might be postponed or we might play somewhere else. They were trying to work it out," Hunt said.<\/p>\n "We might be playing this afternoon so we're all just sitting around waiting for more information.
