The 33-year-old was forced to make the interstate trip after he recently broke the NRL's bubble protocols to attend the birth of his child, in which he had to undergo a 14-day isolation period as he waits for clearance to enter Queensland.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Nine's Danny Weidler from a hotel room in Kingscliff, Chambers, who is off-contract at the end of the season, admitted his career could be over he's unable to join his teammates in Brisbane.<\/p>\n
"I'm in the hotel room at the moment and I'm just hanging in," Chambers told Nine News.<\/p>\n

"If this border shuts between New South Wales I might be on a massive road trip home.<\/p>\n
"That might be all said and done. I don't know If I can sit around and just wait and be separated from my family, hanging on a prayer.<\/p>\n
"I put my family first and I copped the ultimate punishment."<\/p>\n
