In comments he has now taken back, DeChambeau declared his driver "sucks" but later apologised after a fiery backlash from manufacturer Cobra<\/a>.<\/p>\n Koepka, who finished with three straight birdies to move to five under, subtly jabbed DeChambeau when asked about his round.<\/p>\n "I thought the wind died down compared to yesterday I didn't think it was as bad so you can be a little bit more aggressive. Everything is going really well."<\/p>\n Koepka then had another go on social media, tweeting on Saturday morning: "Driving into the weekend!".<\/p>\n DeChambeau went into more detail about his "unprofessional" behaviour following the second round.<\/p>\n "I made a mistake and as time goes on I'll look back on this as a growing moment for me personally," DeChambeau said.<\/p>\n "Hopefully I can make the right things go on from here on out. I didn't mean it, it was in a heated situation and I feel really bad about it.<\/p>\n "They work incredibly hard and I know that. For me, I misspoke and I feel really bad about it. I hope we can move on in the right direction. I know we will, I will say and do all the right things for Cobra-Puma because they mean the world to me, they have done a lot for me.<\/p>\n "I'll say it again; I'm very, very sorry. I misspoke in a heated moment. That got the best of me. We are working hard to do the best we possibly can."<\/p>\n Dechambeau confirmed his relationship with Cobra will endure the slip up.<\/p>\n "They are fine," he added.<\/p>\n "It's one of those things in the moment. We have been working for a long time, for four years, on the driver and still haven't had the exact one that has it work for me at 195mph ball speed.<\/p>\n "We are still working on it and I know we will get there, it's just going to take some time. Yesterday I wasn't driving it particularly well and it got the best of me unfortunately."<\/p>\n Koepka and DeChambeau's running feud will be under the microscope later this year when both players take to the course for the USA against Europe in the Ryder Cup. <\/p>\n "I can put it aside for business. If we're going to be on the same team, I can deal with anybody in the world for a week," Koepka said leading into this weekend's tournament.<\/p>\n "I'm not playing with him. I'm pretty sure we're not going to be paired together; put it that way.<\/p>\n "I don't think we're going to be high-fiving and having late-night conversations. I do my thing, he does his thing.
